Faylen sat in the center of the ChaosClan camp, her eyes glimmering with satisfaction. Although her wretched sister, Faaran- or Cosmosstar, as the Clan cats called her- had reunited the Clans once again, she would do the same thing that she had done before- she would find an ambitious cat and turn their ambition into something more. Greed for power. Faylen's eyes glimmered in anticipation, as she thought out her plan to tear down the new Clans. Yes, they would fall once again, until there was nothing left, not even a memory of what once was. And this time, Faaran wouldn't be able to rebuild them. No, she would make sure of that. She already knew who the cat would be. This cat had lived through pain, sorrow, fear, and anger. The perfect candadite. Even more perfect than Tigerstar, whose only drive was his need for respect, for power. This cat would be driven by the fear, regret and anger that she had gone through all of her life. She was perfect for her plans, because her need for revenge would be the thing that pushed the Clans off the edge into endless darkness. And then Faaran would give up forever on the Clans, knowing that no matter what she did to protect them, her beloved Clans were doomed to die. Faylen's claws unsheathed, and she drew them almost lovingly against the hard rocky ground that was her territory. "Revenge is sweet," she murmured, her red eyes gleaming in the darkness. "And it will be the very thing that destroys the Clans from within."

Faylen continued with her brainstorming, drawing figures in the ground and crossing them out with her claws. "Where is that insolent fool?" she muttered, her dark red eyes gleaming in the darkness. Faylen slashed at her plans, her claws making gouges in the soil. Faylen leaped up, and spun around, her fur bristling. She paced the clearing, impatience growing. Unlike her sister, she didn't wait on cats to get here, they waited on her. Faylen's long black tail lashed back and forth as she paced muttering to herself. "...better when the old Clans were here... at least they weren't tardy... plenty of cats to corrupt, and all because of Tigerstar and his allies... and, of course, me." Faylen's whiskers twitched as this last thought ran through her mind. "Well, at least those Clans were destroyed. Now I have to get to work on corrupting and destroying these, and fast. They can't grow too strong. It's important to catch them early or they'll be really hard to destroy." Faylen had gotten used to talking about the Clan cats like the insects they were. As soon as she was forced out of StarClan, she had started to loathe the Clans. She hated them almost as much as she hated her sister, which was quite a feat. But then again, it was her sister's fault that the Clans were going to be destroyed.
